All I know is that in a split-second, somewhere between Alaska and Russia, Wednesday afternoon turned into Thursday morning. And then seven days later, I arrived home three hours before I actually left Japan.
Yes, my trip to Japan was amazing! Before I left, when people asked me if I was excited to be going to Japan, my answer was that I was looking forward to being with my friends, but that I wasn't excited at all about experiencing Japan. Ha! It turns out that Japan's pleasing roof lines; ubiquitous, perfectly manicured garden plots; and general feeling of safety and order spoke to me. I loved it! I mean, look at the beauty!

But, of course, our friends were the main attraction! God, thank you for the time you gave me with them. Bless them and their work!
